Fill up on safety

NFN Fueling Guide
NFN Fueling Guide
Intro: Safety comes first at every fill-up. These guidelines help NFN drivers fuel safely at cardlocks and retail stations. For full details, download the NFN Fueling Guide.
Safe fueling basics: Turn off your engine before fueling. No smoking or open flames near the pump. Set the parking brake. Avoid using your phone while fueling. Never top off after the nozzle clicks off.
Preventing static fires: Stay at the nozzle while fueling. If you re-enter the cab, touch a metal part of the vehicle before handling the nozzle again to discharge static. Handling spills: Stop fueling immediately, report the spill to site staff or the number in your fueling guide, and do not start your engine near a spill.
At the cardlock: Follow the posted site instructions, wear appropriate PPE for the fuel type, and report any equipment issues.
